Spoleto Festival USA is currently recruiting volunteers for its 2008 season to be held in Charleston from May 23-June 8, 2008. Each year, the festival relies on the energy and experience of its volunteers to help make the world-class arts festival a success. Join us and help make a difference in our community!
The positions are primarily seasonal in nature and run from January through the completion of the festival in June. The specific needs of the organization for the 2008 season include the following:
*general administrative volunteers
*volunteers in the Development and Marketing and Public Relations departments
*event-specific volunteers for the Spoleto Gala and Auction
*volunteers with a visual arts background
*volunteers to assist artists in the development of site-specific projects
*volunteers to provide educational support for community visual arts programming
Morning and afternoon hours are available to volunteers Monday through Friday between January and May 2008. During the festival, evening hours and Saturdays and Sundays are available. For further information, call Volunteer Coordinator David Graham at (843) 722-2764.
