In-kind Sponsorships

An in-kind sponsorship is a great way to introduce your products and/or services to an upscale audience while supporting Spoleto Festival USA. Your contributions will help the festival control its operating expenses, promote its artistic programming, and recognize its patrons and artists. Needs vary from season to season but generally include such items as wine, liquor, catering, cell phones, and contest prizes. Festival Parties

During the festival season, parties are held in private homes and gardens throughout downtown Charleston to recognize the major donors and performers who are vital to the festival’s success. These festive events range from pre-performance cocktail parties to sumptuous brunches, to parties in honor of the artists following their performances. If you love to entertain and would like to open your home to artists and festival patrons, please contact Spoleto Festival USA at 843.724.1192 or events@spoletousa.org.

La Dolce Vita

The festival’s annual auction is held in January each year and hosts approximately 300 of the festival’s upscale supporters and arts enthusiasts. All auction items—from fine jewelry, antiques, and designer fashion to exotic travel packages, original art, and once-in-a-lifetime events—are donated by individuals, retailers, and organizations, with proceeds from the auction underwriting the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra. Each season the festival relies on contributions of complimentary or reduced-rate housing to accommodate hundreds of festival artists. Housing needs range from apartments, carriage houses, condos, and homes on the peninsula or at Charlesto-area beaches. All accommodations must be furnished and unoccupied by homeowners or tenants. If you have an empty vacation home or carriage house, or if you are willing to donate some or all of the rental fees on your property, please contact housing@spoletousa.org.
