Dock Street Reopening Gala

Thursday, April 1

Join us for a special gala concert to celebrate the reopening of Charleston’s historic Dock Street Theatre following a three-year renovation. In keeping with Spoleto Festival USA tradition, the gala program will feature world-renowned international artists alongside emerging artists, including the incomparable French soprano Natalie Dessay and the renowned violinist Geoff Nuttall.

Opening Night Fête

Following the lively opening performance of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, join Festival patrons and artists for a festive opening night celebration under the stars at the Murray Center, 14 George Street.

Festival Parties

Artists and patrons gather together for conversation and cocktails at numerous parties throughout the Festival season. Joining the Spoleto Society or Spoleto SCENE grants Festival-goers behind-the-scenes access and opportunities to meet and mingle with artists and other friends of the Festival.

Vienna & Prague

October 11 – 20, 2010

Travel to magical Vienna and Prague with Spoleto Festival USA, departing on Monday, October 11, and returning on Wednesday, October 20. Spend four nights in each of these magnificent cities and experience the glorious music these two European capitals have to offer. We visited Vienna and Prague eleven years ago, and it was one of the most memorable trips we have offered. La Dolce Vita Annual Auction

Spoleto Festival USA’s 30th annual auction, La Dolce Vita, was held on Friday, January 29, at Memminger Auditorium in downtown Charleston. The festive event was celebrated with pearls galore as guests enjoyed sumptuous libations and delectable hors d’oeuvres during the silent auction, then participated in a spirited live auction with champagne and sweets. The evening was a smashing success, raising over $130,000 for the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra.

Next year’s auction will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011. Save the date!
